HERU Fitness is the first fully equipped gym in Banda Bou, located in Dokterstuin, Curaçao. It offers a unique indoor and outdoor workout experience that blends nature with state-of-the-art facilities. Built primarily using containers, HERU symbolizes strength, innovation, and resilience, qualities that are reflected in the people who train there. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist, HERU is a place to build a healthier and stronger lifestyle. This project was developed in collaboration with AVUS IT, combining fitness innovation with strong digital infrastructure.
Bold brand launch through brand identity design and digital
As a brand-new gym concept in Banda Bou, HERU Fitness needed a bold and powerful brand identity.
The goal was to create a visually striking identity that immediately communicated strength, determination, and movement while setting HERU apart from conventional gyms. Beyond branding, the gym required a high-impact launch campaign to generate buzz, attract members, and establish HERU as the go-to fitness destination in Banda Bou.
The campaign needed to leverage both digital and offline marketing strategies, creating a strong and lasting impression.
To bring HERU Fitness to life, we developed a bold, high-energy brand identity designed to embody the essence of iron—the very meaning of "HERU" in Papiamentu.
The branding focused on a powerful color palette of neon green, grey, black, and white, exuding intensity, energy, and movement. The design elements were carefully curated to reflect the rugged, industrial yet modern feel of the gym’s container-built structure.
We also produced a full photo and video shoot to convey the gym’s raw energy and authenticity, culminating in a powerful introduction video that reflected HERU as more than just a gym—it’s a lifestyle.
Website Development & Social media
For the launch campaign, we developed a cohesive strategy that combined island-wide billboard placements with bold visuals, a dynamic social media campaign that captured the gym’s philosophy and facilities, and a custom-built website that highlighted HERU’s membership details and indoor-outdoor concept.
